Last year our Wedding of the Year competition was a huge success – readers from all over the region entered for their chance to be crowned with the title. So this year we've decided to run the competition again; only we've upped the ante with a fabulous mini-break for two at New Hall Hotel & Spa.
How does it work?
Throughout the year, we'll be looking for couples whose West Midlands-based weddings have taken place between October, 2011 and September, 2012. Every issue we'll reveal the shortlisted couples, and readers can vote online for their favourite. The winner of each issue will go through to the final, which will be held in spring next year.
Any newlyweds can enter the competition: it doesn't matter whether the wedding was large or small; modest or spectacular. Remember, it's the readers who vote, and determine who ends up in the final - and ultimately who wins!
How to enter
If you'd like to put your wedding forward, simply click on 'I want to enter' link above, where you'll find a short entry form. Once you've filled in your details click 'submit' and, if your entry has been successful, a member of the team will contact you. It's as simple as that.
What’s the prize?
The overall winners will not only claim the all-important Wedding of the Year title, they will also win a luxurious two-night stay in a suite at New Hall Hotel & Spa, Sutton Coldfield.The lucky couple will enjoy a delightful table d’hôte meal on one evening in the newly refurbished Bridge Restaurant, complete with champagne aperitif and canapés, and a traditional English breakfast on both mornings.
