Louise says:
The Curradine Barns is a very special venue to us because my parents live on the corner of the lane where the venue is situated. Every Christmas we would go for long family walks past the barns, and Nick and I always said that if we were to get married, this is where it would be.
When Nick proposed, we called the venue straight away to book. We were even happier when we saw the inside of the barn. With its stunning oak beams and limestone floors and twinkling lights, we knew it would be perfect.
Nick wasn't involved in too much of the planning because he wanted the wedding to be a big surprise. Although he helped choose the basics, he had no idea of the flowers being used or the colour of the bridesmaids' dresses. When he stepped into the venue and saw how everything had come together on the day, he was blown away. It was the first time in nine years that I had seen him completely speechless!
